Operation by Chakdala Police Station
A two-member gang, comprising Shehbaz and Umar, has been arrested by Chakdala Police Station for theft and motorcycle robbery.
The operation resulted in the recovery of stolen property worth Rs 47.71 lakh, including Rs 3.96 lakh in cash, a tractor worth Rs 25 lakh, a laser machine valued at Rs 18 lakh, five mobile phones worth Rs 75 thousand, and a motorcycle.
Additionally, the police recovered a 30-bore pistol and a 12-bore pistol used in the crimes, for which the suspects could not provide any permits or licenses.
In response to a series of robbery, theft, and motorcycle theft incidents in the Chakdala area, DPO Mianwali Matiullah Khan tasked DSP Circle Musa Khel Muhammad Akram, SHO Chakdala Police Station Inspector Samiullah Khan, and their team with a special mission.
Their professional skills led to the successful arrest of Umar Hayat, son of Anwar Baig, and Shehbaz, son of Fateh Khan.
The arrested suspects were involved in nine cases of motorcycle and tractor theft, robbery, and other thefts in the Chakdala area. The total value of the recovered stolen property amounts to Rs 47.71 lakh, including significant amounts of cash and valuable items.
In a separate operation, during a routine check, Meher Muhammad, son of Noor Muhammad, was found in possession of a 30-bore pistol without a permit. He has been taken into custody, and a case has been registered at Chakdala Police Station.
