The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has scheduled the hearing for appeals filed by PTI leaders Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi against their convictions in the cipher case.
A two-member bench, comprising Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb, will preside over the case.
The FIA Special Prosecutor is expected to complete his arguments, after which the defense will present their case.
Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi were convicted for conspiring to misuse diplomatic cipher contents, resulting in a 10-year jail term each.
The prosecution claims they endangered state interests by distorting the cipher’s facts.
